LAGOON!!

The kids have been working hard ALL summer to earn their Lagoon trip. They had to earn each letter of the word LAGOON and since we went so many different places they were able to earn a letter each trip if they were good. We finally made it there on Tuesday and had the best time ever. We got there at about 12:30pm and didn't leave until all of the rides were closing at 10pm!! Shane, Kolten, Breanna and Bryant spent the day doing the "real" rollercoasters. My Mom, Kaylee, Kolby and myself had just as much fun doing the little kid stuff.

I have quite a few pictures of Kaylee and Kolby but unfortunately hardly ANY of Kolten! We didn't hardly see him all day, but thats ok because he was too busy having fun with his dad:) We did everything we possibly could and then went back to our favorites for a second, third, or maybe even fourth time around!!

We met up for dinner around 7pm and after we were done eating Breanna and Bryant took Kolby so that the rest of us could head for the water rides. We knew we we dumb for doing them so late in the evening because it was already getting a little chilly outside, but decided to go for it anyway! My mom, Kaylee, Kolby and I had to wait in line forever earlier in the day to go on the log ride, but the second time around there was NO line (maybe because everyone noticed how COLD it was getting)! We went down it and then because there wasn't anyone waiting in line we asked if we could just go again.....and we did! Then we headed to Rattle Snake Rapids where we got absolutely SOAKED but it was a total blast!!! We (especially Kaylee and myself) were FREEZING the rest of the night!

We are already excited and planning for next year. Even though we were going hard all day long, we felt like we weren't able to get everything in that we wanted and we didn't even step foot into the water park!! The kids are really wanting to camp there next year and spend two full days there which I think would be a blast too.....only time will tell I guess:)

p.s. You know that we can't go anywhere fun without a "poor Kolby" picture! A kid pushed my mom from behind right as she was bending over to put Kolby into the little boats and lost her ballance, Kolby fell into the boat and got a pretty good goose egg and cut on the side of his head. He made a pretty quick recover and was ready to get back on the next time around....POOR KOLBY!!!
