Arriving in Pampa, TX

After 15 long hours of driving, we finally arrived at Willie and Wyomia's house in Pampa, TX. Pampa is very dry and flat, much different scenery than we are used to:) The car ride actually went much better than I was expecting it to. Kolten and Kaylee did great. I had ordered each of them a tray that hooks around their waist to give them a flat sturdy area to color on and put some snacks on and Kolten and Kaylee each a footrest. I think they were very wise investments:) We also purchased them some headphones in Fort Collins so that they could listed to their DVD and we could enjoy the radio! Kolby became quite fussy about 2 hours away from Wyomia's. We found a small park to stop at and let everyone stretch their legs for a little while before heading the rest of the way. He cried pretty hard for probably an hour until he finally gave in and fell asleep for the rest of the way. We were very relieved to finally be out of the car!Kolby is ONE very happy boy to be out of the car!!!!
Not very long after getting there Kaylee tripped and cut her head open pretty badly. Poor Kaylee always has something bad happening to her!! Baileigh singed her bangs while trying to look down a chiminea that Shane had built a fire in. Luckily Kaylee had a new Easter Bunny bow that she let Bailiegh have to get her out of the bathroom and to hide the damage....they are two of a kind:)
