Christmas

Christmas was soooo much fun at our house this year! It was Karter's first Christmas and Shane didn't have to work at all. We really enjoyed spending Christmas with all of our family. We were all spoiled rotten as usual and got a lot of really cool stuff. Christmas Eve was really busy for us. We went to Nana and Papa's house in the early afternoon. Breanna, Britt, Bobby and Oliver were there too! We ate lunch and opened presents. It was a lot of fun.

Later that evening we back up to the ranch and had dinner and opened even more presents!! Kolby was really getting into the whole opening presents thing and it was fun to watch his excitement! He would say "YEAH BABY" and kick his leg up after everything he opened or if he liked something that someone else had opened. SOOOO cute!!! We didn't get back home until after 11pm and then the kids had to hurry and get straight to bed so that Santa could come!

Santa did end up finding our house and the kids got everything they had asked for plus more! They were so happy with everything and by mid-morning it looked like a tornado had gone through our house, but in a good way! We all had fun exploring our new things and spending time together. We had a GREAT Christmas!

Karter got a new stroller, a bumbo chair, a few toys and some clothes. He was such a good little boy throughout all of our different parties. Everyone enjoyed holding him and passing him around, and I think he enjoyed all of the love and attention too!

Kolby got his Batman castle, a frog pillow pet, and his "d.s" (fisher price ixl but he calls it his d.s.) Kaylee got Barbie video girl, her ice cream play-doh maker, and her d.s. Kolten got an ipod, dog pillow pet, and a d.s. too. These things are just the tip of the ice burg of everything they got too!

We know how blessed we truly are and are so thankful for all of our many many blessings. We are so thankful for our wonderful family and the opportunity that we have to share the holidays with them!!!
