WInter Weekend Fun

Once again we went to SLC for some Christmas fun. If you haven't noticed, we to there a lot for our "fun!" We picked Kolten up early from school on Friday and headed to Utah. We really needed to get our Christmas shopping done and decided to stay the weekend with Bobby and Britt. I was quite amazed at how much we actually got accomplished Friday afternoon:) After we had had enough shopping for one day we went to Thanksgiving Point and met Brittany after work.

The kids were very excited because they new there were going to be reindeer there! I had been using it for legerage pretty much all week (and it worked:)! You can't see them very well in the picture so I took one of just the reindeer too. After we were done visiting the reindeer, we drove through the lights that they have there. It was nice being able to drive through them and not have to walk! It was fun.

Saturday, Brittany had to work but Bobby was able to hang with us for the day. We finished up our shopping for the most part and later in the evening we went out to eat and went to Temple Square. It was pretty cold, but everyone seemed to handle it really well. The kids love to do stuff like that. We went into the visitors center there to warm up a little and they wanted us to look at every thing on every floor! They love to make sure we read every sign and look at every last thing possible. It was a little hard though beacuse Kolby wanted to keep going, and didn't really enjoy stopping all the time:) After we had warmed up a bit we went back ouside and finished up looking at the lights around the Temple before heading back to Bobby's for some much needed hot chocolate! We had a great weekend and are looking forward to going back on Sunday for our annual ski/snowboarding trip.

Brrr. Was is freezing? You all looked pretty bundled up. That is cool they got to see a real reindeer. I don't think I ever have... Kolten does look very handsome in front of the tree.
