This mother moose and her calf have been hanging out in our back yard all fall. This picture was taken right ouside our back door first thing this morning, we thought they looked very beautiful eating in the snow! We have also had a skunk visiting this week, but we haven't been brave enough to get a picture of it yet:)As you can tell we got quite a bit of snow this weekend and we don't think it is quite done yet. The kids have been sick this week with the stomache flu but are feeling much better today and were excited to dig out all of thier snow stuff and go play outside for a while! After they got everything on it made me realize how much they have grown since last winter. I definately need to buy a few new items before winter is really here!
Kolby was really wanting to get down and play in the snow, but he doesn't have any snowpants or boots yet. They are definately on my list of things to get soon so he can join in the fun.Here are some very darling snow angels:)
The trampoline wouldn't bounce very well because of all the snow on it, but they gave it a try anyways!

They stayed out for about 30 min. (which I thought was pretty good) and finished up with a nice warm cup of hot chocolate!

Too fun! Hope everyone is over the flu and ready for our trip this weekend. Don't worry Kolby, Nana will get you some snow pants. :)
Wow you have some brave kids...there was no way I was going to play in the snow! And the flu...not very much fun! I guess thats when you know winter is here!
