Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend was so much fun!! We enjoyed every stinkin second of it! We started the weekend
out by spending Friday afternoon out on the Flaming Gorge. Josh and Alayna had just bought a new boat the day before and wanted to take it out for a ride. That was something we just couldn't pass up, even if the weather wasn't perfect:) Shane and Josh were the only ones who actually got into the water, but we all had a great time. It gets us excited to go back again, hopefully sometime soon!

Brittany and Bobby came to our house late Friday night. Shane recruited Bobby to help him build our back deck. My dad came too first thing Saturday morning and they got started. I am saving the before and after pictures until it is a little more complete, but they got so much done!! I love it already. Thanks Shane, Bobby, and Dad!!!
My cousin Tasele brought his wife, Barbie, and kids, Sele, Mia, and Nina, from Arizona up to Wyoming to visit. We were even lucky enough to have them up to our house Sunday night for dinner. We cooked chicken and potatoes in the dutch oven (one of our specialties:) and had peach cobbler, and of course roasted marshmallows, for desert. It was so much fun getting to visit with them. My kids always love it when there are other kids around for them to play with.
Monday was another full day of decking, but they got the steps done! Just a few more finishing touches and it is onto the next summer project for us....we have too many to count! We had a great weekend and were able to share it with our family, what more can you ask for? We are really looking forward to this summer and all of the adventures it will bring!

Thanks for a great weekend. We loved the dutch oven dinner! Our dogs had the time of their lives. They have done nothing but sleep since we have been home and you should have seen their bath water- sick! Can't wait until we come again!

Hopefully next time we go it will be a a little warmer. I can't wait to see your deck all finished. That will be so nice in the summer time! That is neat that your family got to come up for a good ole fashioned country cookout:)
